- EASY MAINTANCE OF FASTENER INVENTORY LEVELS
Often referred to as BIN SERVICE, VMI is a system for maintaining your inventories of nuts, bolts, screws and other fasteners to suit all of your manufacturing and/or maintenance needs. Specialty Tool and Bolt will help refine the system and do the work. It is currently available from Santa Barbara as far south as Long Beach, north to San Luis Obispo County and east into Kern County.
- WE’LL MANANGE YOUR BINS AND LABELING
Specialty Tool and Bolt specialists will install the proper size storage bins for the precise sizes and quantities of fasteners you specify. Storage bins will be installed in the areas you designate for easy access. Should you already have bins (or a similar service), we can work with you to reorganize and re-label bins or drawers for easy identification. We can even employ your own part numbering system.
- VMI PREVENTS PRODUCTION SHORTAGES
You could run out of one single component just when it’s needed most, forcing essential manufacturing or projects to come to a halt. To preclude these disasters, just tell us what maximum/minimum quantities to allow in all sizes and types of fasteners and we will maintain those levels per your requirements. Scheduled calls for ordering and restocking will be tailored to your convenience - either regularly scheduled visits or on demand.
1. We award you with our special VMI pricing based on your total annual use, not by each piece used or box ordered! We do all the work and still wholesale to you at prices comparable or better than most catalogs or LA distributors.
2. Your stocking efficiency improves. You are not forced to buy by the box or in minimum quantities. We deliver and put away exactly what you need and no more (unless the item is a very “special order” and is not normally among our 45,000 items in our regular inventory)
